Probably more motherboard than I need, but I figure it's better too much than too little. It'll take longer to become obsolete and it's extra features are expansions & additions I shouldn't have to make later.

For $20 (after rebate), the cheapest video card I could find. I just want to get running first, then I'll think about a real video card and new monitor.
